DNA: Deutschland
A team of people carrying the same heart and values of church-based discipleship and mission have been working in partnership with the DNA UK team to establish DNA-Deutschland. The team consists of Nigel and Karen Rivers; Bob and Jan Lock; Jenny and Yannick Dahmann; and Sue Williams.
The very first course started in October 2008, with a great bunch of German and British trainees. DNA-D currently offers two courses, each with their own distinctives.
DNA-D Track 1 is very similar to the UK course, but developed specifically to challenge and develop the German Christian. The training, which is given simultaneously in German and English, takes place in Berlin. It is an intensive, full-time course which gives the trainee opportunity to broaden their knowledge and understanding in an environment intended to develop their character. The trainees and team travel to England to join with DNA UK for the February Residential - a landmark-week in the 11 month long course.
DNA-D Track 2, is a 9 month, part-time course aimed at developing those who lead busy lives, and who also hold responsible jobs within their church. It is ideal for those with family or work commitments who want to be stretched and challenged as they develop their usefulness to God.
