Can you imagine how you would see a vibrant, worshipping, witnessing Church in every community and network in your town or city? I am really excited to hear about how the folks in London Diocese are doing just this. I think you will be too.
On Thursday 9th November in Edinburgh, Transforming Scotland will be hosting a day conference where will hear how one area of London is doing just that. H Miller is the Head of Development for Church Planting and Growth for the Diocese of London. He will be coming to share how as part of its Captial Vision 2020, the Diocese of London is committed to starting 100 new worshipping communities by 2020 in new ways, in new places, for new people. We believe that there are lessons that can be learned for Scotland from this new initiative.
To ensure that we are able to contextualise this learning well we will be also be joined by three leading church planting practitioners from Scotland, Peter Anderson (Destiny), Helen Brough (Forge Scotland), Mez McConnell (20Schemes). They will be reflecting on their experiences and sharing a discussion panel with H Miller.
This day is for anyone who has an interest in seeing the church in Scotland grow and develop. It will be inspiration for all practitioners, trainers and denominational and agency leaders. Spaces are limited and so we would ask that you would secure your place by following the Eventbrite link here:
Hope to see you there.
